Always look forward to these BA stouts from Modist. This is no exception. Boozy but not harsh at all— all flavor. Vanilla and coconut are present but nothing overpowers.

Stave Robber Special Reserve pours a black color with no head: a sweet pistachio and vanilla on he nose. The flavor is big and rich, with lots of sweet pistachio and vanilla notes. THick feel. Overall, a big, rich, sweeter stout, but not too sweet.
