Last tallboy from a 4 pack, poured into a tulip. Appearance is pale gold or straw, slightly hazed, 1 finger of pill white head, great lacing but not a lot of retention. Nose: well, that's one of the more lemongrassy pilsners I've ever come into contact with. It's not what I was expecting, but it's well done and I like it. Taste: lots of lemongrass, but also some nice herbal hoppy and bitter notes, especially on the back end. Mouthful: Substantial body, moderate to high carb...I usually find IPLs too heavy, but this is relatively light and crisp and clean and dry for the abv. I like it.

16 oz can pkgd 2/10/26 into a pokal.
L: Pours a straw light yellow color with a thin domed white head, steady carbo mix, head recedes to flat thin foam, very good carbo retention, full circumference medium broken lacing.
S: A rich herbal hop note, lemon grass.
T: Citrus zest, fruit bread, herbal hops, wet pasture grass, light lemon, gentle caramelization, it is lightly pale, fairly full-flavored.
F: Brisk then moderately plain with a clean center and a medium-fast fairly dry finish that is a bit airy.
O: Light and tasty. Just right. Not overly hoppy with malts in the back. This beer could slip into IPL territory yet is equally a full-flavored American Pilsner. It is excellent in its style.
