12 oz. can poured into IPA glass
Very slightly cloudy confident golden color, creamy white head that persists awhile before thinning out
Smells : solid fresh local maltiness, complemented by fresh herbal/greenery hop aromas, like a forest walk by the creek!
Tastes great! Exactly as expected after the nose, malty sweetness that is cleaned up nicely by the hops, finishing with a fresh green bitterness that provokes another try! Crushable IPA it is what this is! There's nothing negative that can be said about this expertly crafted IPA. It all comes together so nicely, it's near perfect! Well done once again, Sweeten Creek!

A: Pours a clear medium golden honey in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate caramel + copper + apricot + golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that quickly reduces to a medium sized patch of large bubbled thin film surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of floral + spicy + herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of caramel + grainy + biscuit malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are slightly heavier than light flavors of caramel + grainy + biscuit malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of floral + spicy + herbal hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a bit of thinness/watery-ness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol but a bit thin/watery in the mouthfeel which is not uncommon with session IPAs. Interesting use of hops varietals - not citrus or tropical fruit flavors and aromas.
