Picked up a four pack from the brewery on 11-21-23 for $15. Canned on 9-21-23; consumed for review 3-28-24. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured reddish-brown with an okay off-white head that dissipated quickly.
Nose has hints of dark fruit and oranges.
Taste is a large malt base that has notes of plums, currants, and oranges. Finishes with a hint of sweetness and orange peel.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall, not a bad American take on the style.
