Poured from 12 oz. bottle into Tomfoolery tulip glass. It pours a cloudy straw color with a thin, bright white head and lacing that coats the glass. It has a classic hefe nose: banana, clove, coriander, and a hint of apple. The taste opens with a dose of sweet fruit, including banana, apple, and a hint of orange peel, followed by sweet pilsner malt, wheat bread, and finishing with a hint of noble hops. This ale is light, crisp, and very clean. It features lively, pleasant carbonation, and with an ABV of only 5.5% it is super drinkable. This is a terrific hefe from a new brewery that is doing good work. It's perfect for drinking outdoors with friends on a hot summer day.
