Second of three breweries visited during my first time hanging in Hammonton. Huge space (in serving area up front as well as brewery in back) with lots of potential for growth and development. Nice, not too-hot day outside, so there wasn't many customers inside. Easy to imagine that when packed, the place could get loud...
Interesting variety of styles offered, and without an IPA on, which I appreciate. Had a flight which included: mole stout, blueberry ale, pils, and bock. All were of above-serviceable quality, with the stout being the best of the lot. Did manage to have a sample of the pumpkin stout and gluten-free APA, and both had character. Seems like they make fine stouts, but fermentation/conditioning on lagers may need tweaking.
Probably would have been silent and boring with small crowd there, but the bartender turned out to be talkative and engaging, which was a big plus. He was also nice enough to give me a short tour of the brewery in the back. Looking forward to visiting again sooner than later.

We now have 3 craft breweries in Hammonton , New Jersey . Tomfoolery as far as I am concerned is the best . A very balanced selection , hoppy , balanced and malty. They understand that not everyone is a hop head, kudos to Shawn and Gayle , for their ability to know that beer drinkers need and want a balanced variety.

Go for the beers not for the place. It is just a big room with a bar and a handful of tables. The service was just ok. The beers however are very good.

This brewery is located in an industrial building near downtown Hammonton. At present, the tasting room is located within the brewery area but they are constructing a new, separate, tasting room within the building. The brewery has a welcoming, small-town feel. The staff is friendly and very willing to discuss the various offerings. Overall, it's a pleasant place to sample the fine beers brewed by Tomfoolery.
