Our take on an American brown ale utilizing 7 different types of malts. Bucktail is medium in body and provides subtle chocolate and roasted malt flavor. The addition of Chinook & Centennial hops harmonize with those malts enhancing their flavors creating a well balanced ale.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a shaker glass. It's an attractive pour. The color is between dark iced tea and mahogany and it sports a thin, ecru head and film of lacing that lasted through the pour. The smell is rather subdued with earthy scents of roasted malt, caramel, and a whiff of molasses. Its taste is superb with bold notes of sweet malt, chocolate, caramel, freshly-brewed coffee, molasses, and roasted nuts. The Centennial and Columbus hops add significant bitterness; more than I expected for the style. It is very well balance with great depth of flavor. It is full-bodied with pleasant carbonation, and it drinks very easily at 5.9% ABV. Overall, Bucktail is a first class American Brown Ale. It is one of the best of the style I've had the pleasure to drink.

Dark brown body, moderately cloudyt; huge, billowy head, frothy and sticky; rocky and sculpted appearance. Outstanding aroma; roasted grains and nuts; mocha and caramel. Zesty flavor; toasted malty taste with an interesting spicy element; star anise; moderate to heavy hop bitterness; light caramel. Medium body; bright, prickly mouthfeel; crisp residual sugars; semi-dry.
I describe this beer as a brown ale with balls. It has a very robust presence with an exhilarating spicy kick. Unique and flavorful.

This one poured super carbonated, a slow pour yield instant and huge bubbly head. That head settles to one of the best heads I've seen in a long time, crazy retention and lacing. Deep dark reddish brown and close to crystal clear.
A very dark toasted aroma is followed by a big nice spicy sappy hop aroma, there is just general crisp freshness to the nose.
The taste is even hoppier than the nose would lead on, same very dark toasted maltiness with a really noticeable spicy earth hop note.
Medium body beer that is very crisp and dry, a noticeable pine like bitterness on the finish, almost sappy when its paired with the dryness. The only downfall to this is the ABV, now its not high at 5.9% but paired with the body of this beer I do notice it somehow, maybe just a sensitivity.
