On draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It pours a cloudy, brownish-orange color with a thin, ecru-colored head and lacing. A subdued nose with lite notes of banana, apple, lemon, and Belgian spicing. It's taste is more on the spot with all of the expected flavors: fruity esters of tangy apple, and banana, tart lemon, spicy phenols featuring coriander and clove; and dry biscuit malt. It's fairly bitter and quite boozy. The mouth feel is quite thick and viscous with moderate carbonation. And it's potent at 10.5% Overall, while Treble Hook isn't at the level of, say Fin du Monde or Westmalle, it's a good local rendition of the style and quite enjoyable.
