Reviewed one day after can release. Poured into a Slack Tide tulip glass. It pours an opaque, turbid, orange-brown color with a finger of fluffy, bright white head and a thick coating of creamy lacing. On the nose there is lemon, grapefruit, onion, honeydew melon, and vanilla. It's highly fragrant. The taste is complex. It opens with tart, bitter lemon and grapefruit followed by ripe melon and peach. There is also a creamy vanilla sweetness in the background. The Galaxy, Mosaic and Simcoe hops are flavorful and add lots of fruit and bitterness. This ale is rich and creamy with pleasant carbonation, and at 7% ABV it's very drinkable. Overall, Overfall (nice alliteration) is an absolutely first rate NEIPA with lots of flavor and a terrific mouth feel. Slack Tide never disappoints.

From their FB account: Named after one of the shoals of the famous Cape May Rips. We Brew this beer with Galaxy, Mosaic and Simcoe hops to bring you a hazy NEIPA with notes of tropical fruit.
Released today.
Look: hazy honey with nice soft head that clings to the glass.
Smell: fruity with tones peaches and passion fruit
Taste: begins with peaches and tropical notes and ends with a hint of lemons and grapefruit.
MF: full body - a bit heavier than I would expect with NIPA.
Overall: really nice fruity NIPA. Slightly on the heavier body than I’d prefer, but quite good.
