Purchased upon the recommendation of a friend. Pours a very hazy light orange color. Mild hoppy aroma. Flavor is ripe citrus with bright hoppiness. Moderate mouthfeel with an astringent finish. Overall, pretty good!

L-Somewhat like greatfruit juice......very hazy, cloudy.......thin head from a very conservative pour.....opaque

S-Picking up tropical and citrus fruit from 2 foot away.......greatfruit, orange, pineapple, and some pepper

T-Similar to nose......greatfruit, with some orange, pepper still there, some kind of bubble gum on the back end.....after taste is sweet and slight pine, rind bitterness

F-Smooth, slightly slick, a bit prickly,

O- Love this beer from TE....hoping it canned again soon....

A cloudy fruit purée-looking concoction. Grey-and-brown tinted creamy orange with a finger-and-a-half white head that's quick to settle into a small cap. Spotty lacing.

Creamy peach in the nose. Maybe some pineapple, mint and other fruit.

Very minty tasting. It cuts through the strong cream, lighter tropical fruit and melon, and hints of vanilla and pine. Very low bitterness, although it's not completely absent.

Creamy yet heavily carbonated feel.

This is a strange one. Probably would never be a daily drinker for my taste, but fun to try.

Got in a BIF from MacMalt. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours opaquely murky green color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Great soft mouthfeel for the style. Very juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; balanced bready wheat/oat malts, and not overly sweet. Great showcase of Kohatu, Vic Secret, & Rakau hops. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Reviewed on the day after the can release. Poured into Twin Elephant pint glass. It pours a light yellow straw color, and is nearly opaque with a fluffy, milk-white head that dissipated quickly leaving a significant amount of soapy lacing. Initially, the primary aroma is lemon and grapefruit but as the glass warms you can really smell the melon, along with a hint of wheat. There's more sweetness in the taste than the nose. Initially, the taste features abundant melon and pineapple, followed by tart lemon and grapefruit, and oats. There's little bitterness, and almost no bite, from the Wakatu, Rakau, and Vic Secret hops. I don't believe I've ever experienced this hop blend before. The tropical fruit, citrus, and hops balance very nicely and the oats add a touch of sweetness. There is a slight yeast burn at the finish. The overall taste is outstanding! This ale is creamy with pleasant carbonation, and it drinks below its 6.8% ABV. Overall, it's another outstanding NE style IPA with a great balance of sweetness, tart citrus, and bitter hops. The wheat and oats improve both the taste and feel. Very well done!

A: super hazy burnt orange color. Small off-white head

S: sweet orange creamsicle, strawberry, mango, sweet malts, and crackers

T: follows the nose. Sweet citrus, grapefruit, sweet malts, grass, and a faint earthy bitterness

M: medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is enough to give it a nice zest

O: not a bad beer. Definitely made in the hazy-style. The juicy taste is over the sweet. Easy drinking and tasty. Can hold up with the big boys of the style I think
