Nice head on it with a longlasting surface dusting and plenty of lacing. Very faint haze to the golden liquid, minute particulate, no problem considering it transparent. Nice vinous spine to the nose, helps drive it home, wheat germ, banana, florals, lemon peel, lighter clove, laconic apricot, yellow apple, pear fruit scents, has a pleasingly clean lift to it. Medium-bodied, mild fluffiness from the carbonation, subsides after the attack. Slightly minerally or metallic, this doesn't stunt the graininess but it does lessen any banana or bubblegum notes. Spicy finish. Here too the fruit is adornment rather than centerpiece. Neither too dry nor too sweet. High marks for drinkability. Like it. (Crowler canned 1/27/22)

A: slightly hazy pale yellow color. Head is solid white poured on tap so there isn't much of a head here
S: tons of yeast in the aroma. Bananas, pepper, pear, lemongrass, wheat, sweet citrus
T: pears, green apple, clove, and wheat pack the flavor punch upfront. There is some spicy yeast behind that which brings a nice pepper flavor as well as some sweet phenols. Sweet finish, a little less dry than other saisons
M: lighter side of medium. Quite well carbonates and effervescent
O: real drinkable beer here. Nice flavor harmonization and a nice representation of the style. Dangerous for a 7.1%, this goes Down quick
