L-On the dark side of golden.....not quite murky...... aggressive pour yields three finger head.....lacing is moderate

S-Sweet sugary malts.....ripe melon and cantoloupe......slight dankiness

T-sweetness of the malts..... Finish is a bitter rind.....not as much of the melon that you find in the nose

F- less than medium.....moderate carb.... slick

O- somewhat disappointing offering from TE, whose beers I have been enjoying lately

I had this on draught at the brewery. Pint pour. It pours a murky tangerine color with one finger of milk-white head and elegant lacing that persisted through the pour. The nose features lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and dank floral hops. It's taste starts with a solid malt base with lemon, grapefruit, melon, and a touch of vanilla. The blend of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Vic Secret hops gives it a nice bitterness at the finish that doesn't bite. The flavor improves as the glass warms. This ale is fairly viscous and creamy, with moderate carbonation. The 8.2% ABV gives it a kick that I noticed by the time a finished the pint. While it's an easy drinker beware of the ABV. Overall, this is a really solid DIPA. Twin Elephant's really stepped up its IPA game. Many local brewers would love to produce an offering this good!

a: slightly hazy light caramel color with a solid white head. Almost looks like you could rest a coin on the head

S: melons, mango, pineapple, orange zest, apricot, strawberry, and some onion. There is also a large malt backbone to the aroma as well. I’d say melon is the dominant smell

T: ripe mango, grapefruit, melon, sweet citrus. There is also a big sweet malt presence as well. Slight alcohol as well

M: medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Also slightly sticky in the mouth

O: a nice IPA that boarders on DIPA with all aspects of the beer, especially the mouthfeel.
