On draught at the brewery. It pours a cloudy, golden-straw color with a thin, milk-white head and a creamy sheen of lacing. It has a really nice aroma of tropical fruit, vanilla, lemon, and subdued floral hops. The taste is fabulous! Big flavors of mango, pineapple, and vanilla that blend really well. It's a little like drinking a Creamsicle. It's much sweeter than the base Lil' Shimmy. There are also notes of melon, lemon peel, and grapefruit and the Mosaic and Citra hops are delicate but flavorful. This ale is medium-bodied and moderately carbonated, and at 5.8% ABV it's easy to drink a second pour, which it good because you'll want to. The base Lil' Shimmy Ye' is an excellent APA and this variant is even better. The tropical fruit and vanilla work really well together. I hope this version is included in TE's regular rotation.
