Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours an opaque, dirty tangerine color with a half finger of creamy, milk-white head and thick, soapy lacing. Its smell features lemon, onion, pine needles, and subtle, floral hops. The taste opens with tart lemon and grapefruit, balanced by barley that adds a bit of sweetness. The Amarillo, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops add lots of flavor, as well as a bitter bite. It finishes dry and bitter with a touch of burning astringency. The taste is pleasant enough but it lacks the distinct pop of some of TE's other offerings. The feel is viscous and creamy with a pleasant level of carbonation, and the ABV of this batch is elevated to 7.2% which provides a nice kick. Overall, this is a tasty, pleasant IPA but it is a notch below many of TE's other IPAs.

A: slightly hazy golden orange color with a small off-white head

S: pineapple, oranges, creamsicle, apricot, grapefruit, and fresh biscuits

T: guava, melon, mango and orange. There is a sweet citrus lunch behind that with some lemongrass. There is also a significant hop burn that I’m picking up in the back of my throat. Finish is raw pineapple and some more of that burn. A touch of herbal bitterness at the end - it’s a very mellow bitterness

M: medium mouth. And while it’s a slightly hazy beer, it’s not a fluffy mouthfeel.

O: it’s an ok IPA here. It’s not quite a NEIPA, but it has some of the raw qualities in the flavor that you get from them. Worth a try, but nothing mind blowing
