A: slightly hazy golden amber color with some darker orange notes towards the bottom. Vibrant, thin white head
S: pear, green apple skin, lemongrass, grains, earthy hops, crackers, grass, and some sweet malt
T: lots of lemongrass and sweet grains upfront. Ripe pears behind that with a a little pepper and a pretty noticeable hit of Belgian spice. Big bready background as well, like fresh bagel dough. Finish is lemongrass. There’s the faintest touch of funk as well
M: medium mouthfeel , with medium carbonation. A little lower carbonation than I’m used to for the style
O: not their best Saison, but still a very tasty example of the style. Would get again for sure
