A: light caramel and straw color. Light thin head. A little dark and less head than other Saisons
S: lemongrass, pears, green apples, and grass. Nice yeasty spice behind that with a big bready malt character and some nice Pilsner malt
T: lemongrass, sweet grains, green apples, and pears. Bready malts begins that with a nice grassy note. Just the fainted hint of sweet citrus. The 2 row malt shines nicely in here as well. Just a touch of Belgian yeasty spice & funk as well
M: medium-heavy. Medium carbonation. Less carbonation than other Saisons
O: awesome Saison. The lime is barely noticeable and all the traditional flavors shine through here. My only knocks would be the carbonation is a bit low for the style, and it’s a touch dark looking . Either way worth a drink

On-tap @ Twin Elephant Brewing Co. in Chatham, NJ.
This is a Belgian-style Saison brewed with green tea and lime sugar.
Deep gold to light amber in color with a slight haze to it. Fluffy white head that dissipates fairly quickly. There is a good amount of spice in the aroma followed by toasted malt. Some light citrus fruits come out upon tasting to blend well with the peppery spice. The additives (green tea and lime sugar) are basically unnoticeable, which isn't such a bad thing. Very dry finish. Medium bodied, it's high ABV goes unnoticed until the end.
In the end, this is a pretty straightforward Saison with some classic flavor profiles going on. Nice stuff.
