Yo...get infatuated. We’re tapping into that gorgeous haunting to make your heart grow fonder. Imperial Milk Porter, bred in English Maris Otter & UK Pale Malt, guttural punch of chocolate, roasted and honey malts socking the solar plexus. The technique to the crème brûlée breakdown is an injection of Ugandan vanilla beans and toasted Philippine coconut. Think about the embrace and get that mid-air coconut chocolate pudding cake indulged love massage crashing against the sweet tooth of your soul. Notes from the chocolate cauldron, pulverized cocoa and a chorus of smoky coffee, expanding with kinetic Mounds energy and vanilla bean possessed behind the eyes.

L- Jet black.....1/4 inch head that quickly settles into a mocha color ring at the top.....lacing is sparse

S-Big whiff of chocolate and milk sugar......vanilla, cinnamon.....brown sugar, caramel......pretty sweet

T-Tasty.....similar to the nose.....chocolate, brown sugar, lactose, vanilla, caramel, toasted coconut, cinnamon, roasty coffee.....

F- Medium, low carb, slick and oily

O-Great tasting brew.....if this was thicker it would be a home run......don't usually buy crowlers but this sounded so good just had to try it and glad I did........time to can this one

The aroma only hints at what gradually
Becomes an overwhelming coconut treat. Chocolate and hints of vanilla, medium
Bodied as befits a Porter, sticky and definitely sweet. 16oz is a lot but let’s be real this is delicious. Mounds is the super cliche comparison but this legit scratches that itch.

Appearance: Arrives a murky coffee color with a one finger beige head; good retention and a splattering of lace

Smell: Roast, chocolate and caramel with the vanilla and coconut distinct

Taste: Roast, chocolate and caramel forward with the vanilla and coconut joining in; the adjuncts build into the finish which leans in a sweet direction

Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate carbonation

Overall: A bit sweet for me but has a lot of flavor and blends the flavors nicely

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It appears black but when the glass is held to the sun there are dark ruby hues. It sports a thick, creamy, light khaki head and thick, creamy lacing. The smell is decadent: Milk chocolate, coconut, caramel, graham cracker, fresh coffee, nuts, and just a whiff of char. The taste is insanely good! It opens with coffee, chocolate, and coconut in equal measure. There are also a subtle - but noticeable - dark fruit notes and a slight nuttiness. The flavors all work beautifully. Although it's described as a Porter, it drinks like an Imperial Stout; it's thick, rich, and creamy, with lite carbonation and a warming 9.5% ABV. Overall, Poison the Well is superb! I think it is the best Porter Twin Elephant has brewed and it's one of the very best beer brewed by this up and coming brewery. Try it if you have the opportunity!

Brewed with vanilla and coconut

A: murky dark black color with a slick look to it and a hint of muddy brown. 1 finger smooth dark tan head

S: roasted malts and coconuts upfront. Sweet vanilla and a lactose sweetness follow that. Dark and milk chocolate with sweet caramel as well. Finish is roasted malt and coconut

T: roasted malt, sweet milky lactose and roasted coconut upfront. A mild vanilla and oak behind that. Dark chocolate and oats as well. Sweet milk chocolate and more coconut

M: heavy, sticky mouthfeel with mild carbonation

O: very very heavy for a Porter, definitely drinks more like a stout. It’s super sweet and sticky. If you’re into that, this will be up your alley
