a: super murky burnt orange and dark yellow color. a hint of very light brown and some mustard color. head poured 1.5 finger off-white, but faded very quickly to a thin film at the sides of the glass

s: raw hops, orange zest, sharp pineapple. guava, melon, dragonfruit. a hint of strawberry. dry crackers as a backbone. smells a bit raw still

t: sharp tangy peach and pineapple. raw hop burn. sweet melon, honeydew, creamsicle, peach cobbler. some sweet orange juice, and faint grapefruit. a touch of sweet malts and dough

m: fluffy, almost chewy medium mouthfeel with almost no carbonation

o: has the makings of a nice NEIPA, just needs some more time in the can. once this mellows out it will be nice

On draught at the brewery. It's a totally opaque, pale pastel yellow color with a thin, milk-white head and lacing. The color is really attractive. The smell features lemon, grapefruit, subtle onion, and a whiff of pine needles. It's really dank. The taste opens with tart lemon, bitter grapefruit rind, and a hint of sweet oats. As the glass warms, I notice tangerine and some other sweet fruit notes. But the sweetness is balanced by moderate bitterness throughout. There is pepper and a touch of yeast burn at the finish. This ale is medium-bodied with lively carbonation, and it's heavy for its 6.4% ABV. Overall, it's a solid NEIPA. It's not overly sweet and has a pleasing mouth feel.
