Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a pretty cherry-cranberry color with a foamy, light pink cap and thin sheen of lacing. It's a pretty pour. The smell is subtle with cherry, lemon, clove, and Belgian yeast. The taste opens with big, sweet cherry followed by tart lemon, clove, and Belgian funky yeast. Initially, it's like drinking two distinct beers but as it warms a bit the flavors start to really blend nicely and the beer takes on more Saison characteristics. It's like a funky Belgian cherry smoothy. The mouthfeel is super thick and viscous, and it's less carbonated than most Saisons I've had. The 7.7% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, this is an adventuresome beer that really grew on me. I commend Twin Elephant for its originality. It's a fun beer to drink and would make a great summer cooler.

On-tap @ Twin Elephant Brewing Co. in Chatham, NJ.
Red in color and cloudy with a small light pink head that fizzles out quickly. The aroma and flavor are straight up cherry. You get some very light wheat malt and spice as well, but it's hard to pick out any other flavors besides that. Heavy sweetness in the finish from both the cherry and maple syrup. Medium bodied and pretty smooth and drinkable given the 7.7% ABV.
A tasty beer but it's definitely on the sweet side. I didn't mind it but could see how the cherry would overpower it for some people.
