Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a mahogany color with cola hues when held to the sunlight. It boasts a creamy, khaki-colored head and thick lacing. The aromatic smell features roasted malt, milk chocolate, freshly-brewed coffee, and mint. The taste opens like a York peppermint patty but as it warms there is lots of oatmeal and coffee and hints of leather and peat. It's a lot more complex than first appears. There is very little bitterness. The tastes blend well and it's very tasty. For 4.8% ABV it has nice body. The carbonation level is low and it's very easy to drink. Overall, Mint Condish is more flavorful than a typical Oatmeal Stout. A second pour is not a problem. It's a great conversation beer.
