a: murky burnt orange and caramel color with some flat matte dark yellow notes. poured a 1.5 finger white head, but that faded quickly to nothing more than bubbles around the edge of the glass
s: huge notes of over-ripe mango, pear, strawberry, creamsicle, melon, and crackers. a sweet, sugary note in here as well. more ripe melon and some sweet pineapple in here as well. a bit of caramel at the end too along with a hint of grapefruit
t: sharp mango, pineapple, guava, strawberry-kiwi note upfront. following that is a big hit of alcohol, with sweet melon behind that. some sugary caramel and sweet earthy blueberry cobbler follows. a hint of peach and dragonfruit at the end. more sweetness from the malt along with a touch more alcohol at the end
m: pretty heavy mouthfeel with almost no carbonation. a touch of hop burn on the back of the throat. not as sticky as i thought it would have been for a 12.1% beer
o: it's quite a large beer. at 12.1% it does not go down too quickly, but there is also enough pull from the hops in here (so the alcohol doesn't override everything). rich and thick - it is on the sweeter side...almost like a New England Barleywine lol

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
