Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a dense, dirty yellow with a half finger cap of milk-white foam and abundant thick, soapy lacing. The smell is big and fruity with lemon, lime, tropical fruit scents, and a whiff of white wine. Its taste largely follows with lemon, lime, grapefruit, melon, and mango. The Nectaron hops shine. But what sets it apart are the red berry notes from the New Zealand Cascade. There is just a hint of earthy, herbal bitterness. This ale is moderately-bodied and carbonated and the 8.5% ABV is well-hidden. Overall, this Nosh variant is highly drinkable and I hardly noticed the alcohol level. The red berry notes differentiate it from the typical southern hemisphere IPA.
