Less a Pilsner than an American Wild Ale with a base floor malted pils malt, this beer pours a hazy gold. Prominent fruity and floral yeast aromas are joined in the glass by a bready, doughy malt backbone. A dry finish makes for a pleasant, if not overly complex wild ale.

Poured from the growler 24hrs after tapping into a nonic pint glass. Also sampled at the bar.
Golden lemon body, slightly cloudy but a little transparent and a faint green shade to it. Head is creamy white, very bright easily even from a growler making an easy two and a half tall finger of head. Settles to a bubbly puck, and a pretty tall collar.
Chewy bready pilsner malt mixing with a real nice floral ester. Slight sweetness but also some clean cut grass quality. Comes off first like a pilsner but with a big funky warm twist. Small hint of smoke even.
Real wonderful palate. Juiced very much like an IPA body, but with just a bit of lighter touch and a big solid dough malt feel. Mid palate has a wonderful ester of florals and green herbs. Wonderful thick bakery action, minus the crisp lager and sticky yeast, with a soft floral tone mixing in. Mild sense of minerality as well on the finish.
Confusing and very different take on a pils indeed. Big winner here, and a nice style blur and change.
