Appearance: Arrives a slightly hazy golden color with a modest head; a few shards

Smell: Lemon and earthy funk

Taste: Lemony tones forward with funky Brett flavors building; the finish is moderately bitter

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: I wonder whether some of the previous raters were not familiar with Brett and were expecting a more typical IPA

Should be noted (as its not noted anywhere else, but perhaps obvious as this is all Pen Druid does) that this is a Wild IPA....

Naturally fermented with wild yeasts, but the Brett appears to dominate on this one. Quite dry as you'd expect, not overly hoppy, nor very tart, nicely balanced and mildly funky.
