I tried the Blackhawk stout at the brewery and it was good. It poured an opaque black with tan head that left a spotty lace. The scent had hints of roast and chocolate. The taste was nicely balanced for a stout. There was roast and chocolate present with a touch of citrus. The Mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's a great beer.
