16 fl oz. can, no date, but it does say Lot 217 so idk if that means days 217 of this year orrrrr.... My first beer from this unknown (to me) brewery out of Lincolnshire, Illinois.
A: Pours more of a standard golden orange IPA body than it does anything 'hazy' or 'New England'. Finger of soapy white head. Head is kind of thinned out. It looks decent, i'll be honest.
S: Aroma is a little stale and dusty. Earthy, herbal... not a whole lot else happening.
T: Its smooth & malty, lots of biscuit, caramel, slightly herbal & earthy. Not getting much hop presence or citrus or anything resembling what i normally find to be "New England" in flavor..
F: Smooth, wet, fluid. Medium-fullness, drinkability is good for the 7% abv, definitely doesn't taste like it.
Overall, average. Ok, but it didn't excite me. Would try other brews from this brewery.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a growler on May 2, 2018. This Old World take on a New England hazy IPA is loaded with juicy hops! Huge flavors of tangerine and grapefruit blend with a silky mouthfeel. A massive double dry hop lends an intense aroma of citrus and mango.
