Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a nigh-obsidian topped by a finger of light tan foam. The nose comprises strong coffee, roast, dark chocolate, light vanilla bean, and a touch of whiskey-soaked wood. The taste brings in more of the same, the coffee taking up nearly all of the front, everything else relegated to the back (but, hey, at least the coffee's good, right?). The body is a hefty medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry-ish finish. A rather nice bit of barrel-aged coffee stout goodness.
