Aggressive pour yielded a dark brown body, one finger tan head, no noticeable lacing. Hazelnuts dominate the aroma and there's some chocolate. Taste buds are getting way too much chocolate, plenty of nuttiness in the taste and a very faint hint of blueberry. Feel is typical Imperial Stout. As Imperial Pastry stouts go, not too bad, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Edit: I didn't get any barrel notes at all.

Bold aromas of roasted hazelnuts, soft ripe blueberries, sweet bourbon and chocolate notes and the taste follows. Smooth, semi oily full body, slightly sticky finish. Light to no alcohol detected. Soft bourbon notes. Hazelnut is prominent and blueberries are subtle. Well worth a taste.
