This beer popped up in the anarchy that ensued when most other brewer's kegs ran out at OBF. Not officially on the list, but what a treat. The recipe says it has no hops at all, and owes its flavor to honey and heather flowers.
My sample was a very attractive amber with a full foamy head. The aroma was sweet and wonderfully floral. The taste was sweet, melon, and honey. Very smooth, but with a nice mixture of flavors. The aftertaste was quite clean, and had a light sugar, like after canteloupe. It was very satisfying, and was a wonderful treat after several of the imperials.
