Tried this at TW and liked it after suspicion. Supporting local picked up a sixer. Set me back 14 large. Let's give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a very nice floral spice and maltiness characteristic of white ales. Pours to an opaque yellow with a wispy head that is quickly gone. Taste is sparkly but thin, then kicking in with some heavy hop notes and a big bass-like aftertaste. Lacking on the malt punch but the hops are vibrant. For what it is 95 calories and 2.8 grams, I would drink this all day long over an Ultra. Albeit the price point is steep, but beer budgets can't be messed with. A nice twist. Great for the hot Miami summer.

It is OK to style this as an American Blonde, but it seems intended for the lifestyle low-cal, light beer lager market segment.
But for us ale drinkers, this a flavorful low-cal ale, lemony and tart. But, it does have a bubbly, thin mouth like light lagers.
For a six year old, Tank Brewing is doing well on two counts. First, its forays into the Belgian tradition seem successful; particularly their saison that I'd like to taste. Second, their website shows some sophisticated marketing. So they should do well in the largest local market that focusses on light, refreshing beers.
