On tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a pale yellow color. A small white head forms and recedes quickly to leave a touch of lace down the glass.
S: A touch of grassy hops, I think I get Saaz. Then mostly bread and cereal grains. Really mild with not a lot of character.
T: More wet cereal grains here than in the nose, which kind of becomes the entire show. Mild grassy hops linger after a while. Though not a lot of depth at all.
M/O: More body than I was expecting. Still very light and crisp. As this is about as close to water as you can get, it goes down really easily.
A simple grain character and a touch of grassy hops. That is it. While not outright bad, and it does succeed in being a no hassle and true session beer. Just does not fill my itch for a great example of what I know session beers to be.
