I had this beer on-tap in a dimpled mug at the Rosenstadt taproom in Portland.
Appearance: medium brown hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of tan foam atop.
Smell: moderately sweet and somewhat caramelly malt with a yeasty note as well. Not too bad.
Taste: sweetish, caramelly, toasty malt with a moderate bitterness. It's decent, but it doesn't jump out at me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: a perfectly cromulent Munich dunkel, if not a perfect one.

On tap:
A reddish-brown body that allows the obvious outlines of a finger come though a Pilsner glass, despite early condensation on the glass. A frothy light beige head can be seen reviving itself from the lines of lace it leaves behind.
Nice level of toasted malt in this. A slow, prolonged whiff brings medium toasted grainy bread the whole inhale. A very light caramelization, but a little more spicy to earthy hops act as accents.
A little more watery than expected from the fairly robust nose, the toasted malt and bread notes take a second to grab hold. The spicy hops are a little more forward than expected from the nose. Moderate carbonation has its bite accentuated by this (or vice-versa?). A very light citrus lean to an earth spice back end.
