I had this beer on tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: rich brown hue with a pretty clear body and a finger of tan foam that leaves a good lace on the glass. Quite good.
Smell: lightly malty with some caramel and coffee notes. Restrained, but nice.
Taste: bready and caramelly with just some hints of coffee. A nice brown; the coffee adds something but isn't overdone.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a low carbonation and not a ton of creaminess.
Overall: despite the underwhelming texture, this is a nicely drinkable beer.
