Clear 64oz growler filled at the brewery yesterday morning (~26 hours ago). Poured into a pint glass at fridge temp. Good fill; very little air left in the growler to allow oxidization.
Pours black, with a small tan head which fades very slowly. Lots of fine, slow carbonation. Smell is roasty and rich. Black licorice.
Taste is intense, very rich, very bitter roastiness, some mild date-like sweetness, more of that black licorice.
Mouthfeel is somewhere between silky and effervescent. Overall, very good beer.
