I had this beer on-tap in a snifter at WABL Belgianfest 2015.
Appearance: medium gold hue with a very light haze and a nice cap of creamy white foam. Nice.
Smell: very very light aroma with a tiny touch of funk and a very berry-like character, perhaps strawberry or raspberry. It's OK.
Taste: those same berries from the aroma are in the flavor with a subtle saison character underneath, but they don't really bring the thing together. I think there's not quite enough funk to stand up to the other flavors present.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a decent creaminess. Not too bad at all.
Overall: it's not a bad beer by any means, but the interplay of the berries and the very mild funk doesn't do a whole lot for me.
