A rough pour yielded a nice tan head; thick, frothy lace.
Fresh earth, cream & faint dark berry notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Fresh earth & cream flavors; a hint of dark berry emerged as this warmed.
Solid, if unremarkable, Schwarzbier.

Taste: crisp, rich, toasty,, dark grains, smokey tobacco notes, some hop presence, dry finish. Same with the nose. Black, opaque, soft tan head with nice ringed lattice. Medium body. Tasty zing to the Black beer. 25 IBUs
