Served in 13oz tulip. Poured a clean, clear medium honey color with just a thin cap of of white head that had no retention or lacing.
The aroma had low yeast spice and light grains, with some spiciness from the added local botanicals.
The flavor profile was fairly similar, but did have a sweetness that doesn't really fit in with the style.
The body was fuller than I like in the style, and had a semi-sweet finish that was a bit sticky.
Drinkability was fine, I probably wouldn't have two in a row, but I would have it again.
Overall, a nice enough brew, worth trying if you see it.
