Sometimes things get a bit hazy. Our Clouded Judgement Hazy IPA may strike you as familiar. It was the Hazy Blue Line IPA before it so aptly got a name change. The opaque IPA has a straw-colored, juicy mouthfeel with notes of stone fruit, tropical fruit and citrus aromas and flavors.

Had liked what I had from Bitter Brothers thus far, reviewing the four for an average of 4.00. I believe this was the first time I’d seen a hazy beer from them, let alone a double hazy one. Online description read, “Sometimes things get a bit hazy. Our Clouded Judgement Hazy IPA may strike you as familiar. It was the Hazy Blue Line IPA before it so aptly got a name change. The opaque IPA has a straw-colored, juicy mouthfeel with notes of stone fruit, tropical fruit and citrus aromas and flavors.” No mention of the hops. EDIT: It appears I had this beer before, giving it a 3.75 on Untappd on Feb. 4, 2018 and writing, “Sneaky good beer from a sneaky good brewery. So close to a 4.”
Poured a medium yellow hazy color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled really nice with Mosaic, floral, stone fruit, peach, guava, mango, tangerine, orange juice, hints of orange creamsicle and light vanilla. Smelled pretty boozy as I dug into it more. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste was not as good as the nose, but still solid. Guessing Mosaic, El Dorado and Citra for hops. Also floral, stone fruit, peach, guava, mango, tangerine, orange juice and light orange creamsicle. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, sweet finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Outstanding hazy double IPA overall. (Overall - 4.00)
