A very solid West Coast IPA. Hops are present in the aroma and taste as well as the finish. It isn't very bitter, but well balanced.
Pours a golden yellow, with a thick white head. The blanc hops are forefront in the aroma in the glass, but the taste is that solid Centennial piney stone fruit backbone, with some Mosaic to add some extra fruity flavor notes. The Citra keeps things a bit tart, but it all works with the help of the Amarillo. Well balanced and a delicious beer.

Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Clear 16-oz. Bruges beer glass
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $2.69
Purchased: May 3, 2019
Consumed: May 19, 2019
Reviewed as: American IPA
Misc.: No canned on date
Picked this up on a recent trip to Windmill Farms, even though I already had plenty of beer in my fridge. Gave this a 4.00 on Untappd back on Nov. 3, 2017 at the Alpine pub, writing, No review. Collab with bitter Brothers. Description has Citra, Mosaic, Centennial, Amarillo and Hallertau Blanc. Very interesting (and good).” Was looking forward to reviewing it.
Poured an amber clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of white frothy head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent uneven layered lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra for hops. Also bitter woody pine, tangerine, orange, black pepper, floral, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, white grape and citrus rind. Pretty much the same from the can with Mosaic and Amarillo dominating. Definitely an old school West Coast IPA. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste was not as good as the nose, but still solid. Got dank resin, pine, herbal, tangerine, orange, Amarillo, Mosaic, red grapefruit, black pepper, floral, white grape, lemon-lime zest, green leaf, unsweetened iced tea, mango and citrus rind. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just an excellent West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.25)
