Presentation: 11.2 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. Purchased from Total Wine & More.

Look: bright golden color. Frothy two finger foam head that evaporates rather quickly. Minor amount of lacing.

Smell: notes of malt, sweet honey, and grains. The smell is sweet, but pleasant.

Taste: similar to the smell, notes of malt, sweet honey, and grains primarily. There’s a bit of a spicy hops flavor as well.

Feel: light bodied. Smooth and slightly creamy mouth feel. Carbonation is average.

Overall: it is a decent European pale lager. The sweet and malty flavors are somewhat unique for this style of beer, but that is the only remarkable characteristic I can note. It is a beer and it is drinkable. No offensive flavors or aroma detected.I probably would not buy it again, but I definitely would not turn it down if I came across it. Worth trying if you come across it but not a must have.

Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.

Aroma of sweet malt, gastric odeurs and an unpleasant sharp sourness.

Soft carbonation and watery palate.

Not much to the taste other than too much sweetness and too little bitterness (you can almost talk about the Iberic curse). Some skunky unpleasantness in the aftertaste.

Why on Earth did I buy a big can of this sweet brew?

Pours a clear golden amber with one finger of whitish head and absent any lacing on draught into a nonic pint glass. Aroma of pale malt and warm bread with flavors of crisp pale malts and appropriate bitterness.

 

Tea-coloured, clear. White head, medium height, made up of medium-sized bubbles, disappears quite quickly from the surface of the liquid. Leaves no traces.Malty aroma, pleasantly sweet, I can safely say that it is flawless.Taste: the light malty sweetness harmonises with an equally delicate hoppy bitterness.Medium carbonation. Medium-light body. Smooth texture. Medium-long malty aftertaste.

Another simple, easy drinking beer. It doesn't offend, it doesn't "wow". I like it over Sagres. A great, everyday beer, but nothing worth writing about. Picked up in Rhode Island.

Poured a 355ml brown bottle into a pint glass. A scant one finger head on a clear gold. The head soon diminished to a thin layer. Some patchy lacing.

Malts in the nose. Some spice. A weak flavour but smooth and light. Moderately sweet. minimal hop flavour.

A light body and moderate carbonation. Overall a decent European Pale Lager. Not very distinct but not objectionable. True to the style and a solid hot weather quencher.

In Teria, Portugal. Clear gold pour, quick head. Nose is sweet cereal grains.

Taste is light malt, sweet corn, floral, hay. Light mouthfeel. Finish is malty and light.

ok wasn't quite water dripping out of a wet towel......looks like slightly dehydrated pee and thats the only salient point

 

This beer is very refreshing and highly carbonated. It is available all over Portugal (and cheap). Great beer for very hot days. Not one that will knock you out, really neutral flavor profile. Are there better beers? yes. Is it a good beer for the price? yes. Goes with anything or on its own.
