I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in Kent.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of ivory foam atop.
Smell: moderately sweet with a bit of grapefruit peel character. Not complex but not too bad.
Taste: there’s like a bright lemongrass and pine flavor here that just reminds me of Pine-Sol. The malt base is lightly toasty. It’s not like undrinkable or anything but just really not to my taste.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: not sure what they were going for on this beer … it’s like aggressively lemongrass-ey. Not my jam, but also not, like, totally gross.
