Bought this can at The Cave in Glasgow.
This is one more example of how the NEIPA has a special place in English brewing... in part because their instincts are to control the bitter hops and to bring out the fruit whether it come from malt or aromatic hops.
Vermont Pale's Looks are only slightly above average. But Smells, Tastes and Feel clearly improve the average for NEIPAs. In part that is because they are part of the English tradition of brewing moderation, in part it is because Gun is accomplished. This is a recommended NEIPA.
I went on Gun's website and they brew on this idyllic farm in the south of England. But they aren't escapists. They hit all the cool buttons of sustainability and "vegan" is advertised on this label. So for offering the alternative, I give them some pretty good OA Hugs.
