***Update to say they have significantly improved this beer, I enjoyed it a lot my last visit.***
Murky gold pour with an ample white topper give this beer a classic look that sets the taste buds into anticipation.
Full strength aroma with banana stronger than clove and both much stronger than an excellent bready sweet to make it a pleasing bouquet.
Has a sorta lightest sour note to go with the rest of the flavors in the aroma. Not in a bad way, but more of an unexpected start to the sip. Banana and clove are less pronounced than in the aroma, and are equal partners with a rounded yeast breadiness. Actually a decent taste.
Full bodied, overcarbed, not as refreshing as would be optimal, not a great frame for the flavors.
No date on bottle, unsure if this is fresh. Whatever the light sour note at first was interesting, even tasty. It became an unpleasant feature before the end of the glass. Not recommended
