A hop-forward ale brewed with 100% wheat malt for a doughy, fresh baked bread taste. Heavily hopped and then dry-hopped with citrus-forward hops. Light in body, always to remain hazy.

On tap at The Bench, Stowe, VT. They poured into a tulip. The appearance was a cloudy pale yellow color, reminded me of milky yellow color. Bar pour’s kind of head that dissipated into oblivion. The aroma leans towards a semi-sweet lemon to citrusy pulpiness. Sly citrusy rind bitterness accompanies nicely. Slight grainy sweet wheat. Subtle pine. The flavor balances nicely between some light sweet wheat playing with the citrusy rind. Subtle dry pine. Crisp sweet blend of the citrus to the pine to the wheat in the aftertaste and finishes the same. On the palate, this one sat pretty light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation reads correctly for the style and feels good for me. Overall, pretty good APWA. I’d have again preferably with food or more likely in the Summer.
