Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-murky amber color with a moderate transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a fair pace. Light lace ran here and there.
The aroma had some light piney to citrusy notes flowing over a nice clean bready malt bill.
The flavor was mildly sweet - pulling the citrus to the pine and flowing on into the malts. Ample bitterness at the end to make a good effort for balance. Aftertaste was some pine, bread and a touch of citrus at the end.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good, somewhat low. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, as an APA it works. My following pours of this went well with my bacon cheeseburger.
