Growlette from Winooski Beverage.
This was poured into a stange.
The appearance was a semi-cloudy yellow color with a two finger white foamy head that swiftly dissipated. Light spotty lace ran here and there nicely.
The aroma spotted some coconut, kiwi, mango and pineapple fleshy sweet portions wrapping around the sour tones of a normal Berliner Weisse (that soured semi-acidic wheat is there).
The flavor had a keen level of sour-ed wheat initially and then dove into those sweet balancing portions of the coconut, kiwi and pineapple. Barely any aftertaste, but seemed a little bit leaning towards the coconut and pineapple along with that clean soured wheat.
The mouthfeel was a bit more softer than expected than a normal Berliner, but somehow I wasn't worried as I get the fact that this brewer was trying to do something a bit more "creative." The pucker factor may not have been there for this one, and the sour level is a bit tamer than most of the ones of this style. Carbonation did feel fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nice Berliner Weisse with some Good Measure creativity rolling about. I'd have this one again.
