The third iteration in our Life In Technicolor series, is beer pops with notes of tropical fruit, pine and citrus. We brew this beer with a soft malt base consisting of a large amount of wheat to help provide a round mouthfeel and body. Over 10 lbs per barrel of blood orange zest and juice were added for a refreshing citrusy taste. Bittered slightly with Columbus we then hit this beer with a heavy dry-hopping consisting of Mosaic, El Dorado and Simcoe. It's like orange juice in a glass.

Growler share.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a stiff murky bronzed orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice semi-slow pace. Not much lace, seemed trickling.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet orange pulp melding with some grassy hops and a clean wheatiness rounding out the edges.
The flavor combined the prior aromatics to end up blending with some refined semi-sweet piney notes. A slight zesty composure accompanied the aftertaste along with the wheat and orange.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Finish composed of a light bitter to semi-zesty snap of the orange, which was pretty nice to me.
Overall, in a "Good Measure" sort of way, this was a pretty nice AIPA that I would have again. Honestly, I couldn't exactly tell if it was "blood orange," but they say it was so, I'll believe them.
