Hey! We brewed another summer crusher! This Berliner-Weisse based beer was brewed to be light, tart and refreshing. With a base of pilsner, wheat and oats we sour mashed this beer for over 48 hours to achieve a tart puckering flavor and finish. Fermented directly on over 8 lbs/bbl of strawberry and rhubarb puree, it exhibits notes of jam, pie, shortcake and other delicious summer treats. It's light enough to please the palate and complex enough to keep you interested all the way down to the bottom of your glass. Have a couple and relax, it's summer!

Poured into a stange, the appearance was a nice bronzed sort of semi-hazy yellow color to it. Slight lace held tight after a thin foamy cap of a white head dissipated.
The aroma had a nice semi-sweet to tart rhubarb freshness playing with a little bit of jammy-like strawberry. Light biscuits touch the underneath and then an ever so slight of whiff of "sour-ed wheat" at the very end.
The flavor was moderately sour with a touch of tart that pulled the strawberry into the rhubarb in a wonderful meshing. Nice aftertaste of the strawberry to the rhubarb and biscuits in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt on par. ABV felt appropriate (nice and low for the style). Slight sour to tart wheaty and rhubarb-like finish.
Overall, pretty nice Berliner Weisse even with a Good Measure twist. It's one that I would like to come back in the Summer.
