The fourth iteration in our Life In Technicolor series, features both a single hop and single citrus fruit. We brewed this beer with a soft malt base consisting of a large amount of wheat as well as oats to help provide a round mouthfeel and body. We hopped it intensely with only Simcoe hops to add notes of pineapple, citrus and pine. Whirlpool additions of over 15 lbs per barrel of clementine zest and juice were added for huge notes of fresh squeezed orange juice. Super tropical and super crushable.

Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking semi-murky to chill haze paper colored orange quality. Finger's worth of white foamy head sat atop and slid off fairly nice. Slight lace ran here and there.
The aroma definitely had the clementine up front - sweet, semi-pulpy and even had the peel bitterness there too. Nice ample sweet grass, a little bit of refreshing lemongrass and a touch of clean biscuit malts.
The flavor was moderately sweet through the prior mentioned aromas and brought in a slight bitterness only there for a touch of balance. Mild aftertaste of the clementine coming across very smoothly.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a fine sessionability about it. Carbonation felt just a touch under and had good sturdy ABV as projected by the brewer.
Overall, today with the heat/humidity as high as it was, this beer came across just so damn good, let's just say it fit the mood.
