On tap at Big Fatty's Bar and Grill, White River Junction, Vermont.
Despite being poured into a shaker pint glass, I got what was going on, here's my observations.
The appearance was a semi-glossy yellow to pulled back orange paper color with a sheet of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Some ringy lace stuck nice to the glass, actually really nice to me.
The aroma seemed to start off with a "sweet pine" that formed around some citrusy to bready notes, really nice yet semi-mellow sort of blend.
The flavor followed suite by pulling the sweetness of the hops to the malts and want to "mute" the hops a bit more. Moderate semi-sweet features of the pine in front and then a stifled citrusy to bready malty sort of aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine, somewhat low and nice. ABV felt on par. Smooth piney sweet finish.
Overall, really nice APA well worthy of having again.
